On multiple occasions I have had an assault backpack equipped which went from pristine to ruined when taking gunfire from the front. I have never seen it go from pristine to worn, damaged, or badly damaged in this circumstance.

Steps To Reproduce
- Get fully geared including a pristine helmet andassault backpack
- Take gunfire to the front of your character
- Observe helmet is now in worn condition and backpack is ruined
