Last session i had the game crashing to desktop. Now whenever i launch then exit, i get the game in steam launcher in "running" state, though there's not any dayz.exe process running.

The only way to get rid of this is opening task manager, processes tab, and wait for the dayz BE process to eventually popup, then shut it down before it vanishes.
