Try uninstalling and reinstalling dayz. Its worked a few times for me, you will also keep your character and gear.

Are you experiencing this issue still? The character should get automatically unlocked within an hour and we are also unlocking the characters manually. In case your character lock persists for more than hour, please connect to any server and then send us your gametag, the server name, the time and date of the connection and the full message you receive upon being kicked from the server.
