While walking forward my controller died and my movement continued. I replaced my battery and had no control ingame, and no inventory or pause menu access. I had to stop running the game. I have tested and found repeated effects. While moving, standing still, grabbing things and opening doors. If you lose power to your controller you have to stop running the game.
