Rain Effect - Visibility
New, NormalPublic

Description

I have noticed that during rain fall (light to heavy) that the rain creates an unusual effect. It can be observed that the rain has varying levels of contrast which in close proximity to the character model causes a halo of "clear visibility" despite the environmental conditions.

This effect is present during light to medium rainfall but is not as noticeable.

Not sure if this is intended

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Find/Turn on the rain
  2. Locate your character in a variety of places (open fields, tree lines, forests, in cities)
  3. Observe the varying degrees of contrast between the rain and the environment

I have attached a couple of images to demonstrate this effect.

  1. Heavy Rainfall in open field. Large halo of clear visbility around character.

  1. Heavy rainfall approaching treeline in open field

Additional Information

Unsure whether this effect is intended or simply due to colouring/texture of rainfall and how it contrasts with the surrounding environment.

Tried to post earlier, this might be a duplicate.
