This is too work intensive to use in a mission.
There needs to be a line to disable or enable Targeting Pods for aircraft (especially for those that notably lack the targeting pod on their model in the first place, IE the Buzzard) in order for mission makers to be able to remove a significant tactical advantage that can lead a jet to dominate a mission almost singlehandedly.
