Rain visibility seems to be hit or miss depending on lighting. Certain lighting scenarios capture the rain visibility pretty well across the different backgrounds within one frame. But for the most part I find that the rain is visible from say the top half of the screen, but as the rain falls to the ground (naturally becoming a darker background for the rain to fall upon) the rain becomes very hard to see at all in many lighting conditions and gives the sense that its almost just being masked away too much. This is amplified when night comes, during night I will hear the rain pouring down at what sounds like 100% but due to the darkness you cannot see the rain at all.
