While trying out the Helicopter Transport module in the Editor, I tested to see what would happen if I got in as group leader First.

It went poorly.

My AI were no longer selectable (and so I could not order them to get in the Helo) as the Verify Location popup kept popping up incessantly. When I got out of the helicopter to try to order them inside, the popup broke entirely and the function keys, ~key, the backspace menu, and the mousewheel menu were no longer accessable: I couldn't get back into the helicopter because of the last one, rendering the session permanently broken.
