A-143 Buzzard CCIP reticle misleading when locking air target
New, NormalPublic

Description

In editor mode, and probably multiplayer too, the CCIP reticle displayed when the Buzzard locks on to a plane/helicopter with its cannon is inaccurate. The reticle is consistently higher than the gun actually shoots. It seems to incorrectly assume that the cannon shoots too high. This error makes dogfighting with the Buzzard more difficult than it is with other planes.

See below for examples.

One interesting thing is that the CCIP reticles displayed for shooting at the ground...

and for shooting at nothing in particular...

are mostly accurate.

Alternatively, instead of moving the CCIP reticle down for air targets, another possible fix could be to move the static HUD crosshair down.

Thank you.

using the default CAS loadout straight from the editor; seems to happen both when locking on to a Wipeout or Neophron

This does not seem to occur in multiplayer, however; the reticle is accurate to the little static crosshair both when shooting the ground and locking on to an air target.

the little static cross hair at the bottom is the is Jet Camera, and little circle is (I don't know what it's called) the icon shows the user where bullets will hit, but little circle and the static cross hair are mixed up, because in the other jets the little circle represents Jet Camera viewed location , they are mix up with the incorrect values with wrong icons, they need to be switched and tested.
