When I try to start up the game I get an error that says 'Arma 3 was exited in an unusual manner'

this has never happened to me before and I've re-downloaded the game and verified game files twice and yet I still get the error

I get this code in the error box: 0xc000005 - STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION

Please help
