Testing shows that when you crash while the black face is going on chances are very high that infected destroy your character, but not only that some clients have been experiencing high volumes of data damages especially with character, and animals pbo files.

Verify through steam only checks the # of files but never the files themselves.
It takes 2 people to determine the errors one in game watching while the other just CTD.

Animals.pbo, character files etc.. seem to get damaged, once you delete those pbo files steam re downloads all the missing files again. Verify is not working well at all for post file damages.

Fix please prior to releasing this to stable.
