Status_access_violation with arma 3 for semi-unknown reason
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Sudden crashes with a status access violation error message with different (seemingly random) causes every time, my ram and CPU being under 75% load constantly. I have tried all the suggestions on the wiki for this crash, I've also looked through the bug boards for a relative crash, and none of their solutions have helped, it feels like Ive tried everything.

Try the below possible solutions one-by-one:

Try switch your resolution and game screen mode (i.e. from fullscreen to windowed)
Plug your display via HDMI cable instead DVI.
Try to re-download your game data files.
Delete some unusable or old games, programms and files to release more virtual memory space.

Try restarting your computer and then verifying the integrity of the game cache for Arma 3.

  1. Restart your computer and launch Steam
  2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
  3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
  4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.

Try all of the possible solutions listed on the Arma 3 Unusual process exit article on the Bohemia Interactive Community Wiki.

Try switching to and playing on the profiling game branch. After downloading new data verify the integrity of the game cache.

• profiling branch (special performance + profiling build - requires access code: CautionSpecialProfilingAndTestingBranchArma3), alternative download of needed binary possible from Dwarden's dropbox

Next, you could try to use this solution, called delete your game profile.

  1. Go to C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Arma 3
  2. Copy all files
  3. Delete yourprofilename.vars
  4. Return back your profile settings
  5. Launch the game

So, there is some next solutions.

try to decrease your graphic quality (if you're using ultra set high or medium). It´s possible that your have no more space on your GPU.
reinstall your GPU drivers

t'was me who is the fool, for setting my memory allocater to system fixed my problem henceforth.
