This happens frequently and usually within a few minutes of playing in the single player campaign. Sometimes it happens a minute into the game, or I may be able to play 20 minutes or so before it happens. I have tried all of the fixes on the site for Access Violation crashes, but I can't tell any difference. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello,

I found this in your report log:
Fault address: 1000100D 01:0000000D C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\dll\tbb4malloc_bi.dll

At first, try to change your memory allocator in Launcher parameters.

Also, try this hotfix.

Try the below possible solutions one-by-one:

Try restarting your computer and then verifying the integrity of the game cache for Arma 3.

  1. Restart your computer and launch Steam
  2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
  3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
  4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.

or you can try to delete your profile folder (create a backup) a try to start the game.

The file yourprofilename.vars.Arma3Profile must be deleted.
Path: C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Arma 3

I hope it will help you just let me know.

Thanks for your prompt reply Alwin. After I changed the memory allocation to let Windows handle it per your suggestion, it works great now. Thanks again for your help.

Mike
