Since 0.61 stable is released the server pings are all orange and higher than in 0.60.
0.60 wasn't really a christmas update.
In stable version 0.61.136821 the communication between client and server is still very poor as mentioned above, server needs monitoring as soon as you get the chance, server was not completly full this time.
