Arma 3 crashes with STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION.
Try each and everyone of the possible solutions listed here.
If the above does not help then please prepare and attach a new troubleshooting report.
I have deleted all the missions from profile\missions folder which is used by editor and now Arma is not crashing any more. The strange thing is - it was crashing before I opened any missions not even showing the in-editor file browser. You might wanna check it out.
After deleting the missions I've done:
- created a new mission on Stratis (simple one)
- saved it as test.Stratis
- exited the editor
- opened the editor again
- clicked on open mission button
- now file browser is displayed - picked test.Stratis
- everything loaded normally
Before there was a number of missions using mods but it didn't even allow to display the file browser, let alone select the "wrong" one.
Hi,
You have the most typical issue. It could be caused by many little discrepancies.
a) Try to use all sloutions mentioned on webpage linked by Jawsh.
b) If we have to resolve your problem please upload some crash dumps to us.
c) Try to move all your missions to another folder (don´t delete) (Documents>Arma3 - Other profiles).
d) Try to return dislocated missions back to Other profiles folder, one by one.
e) Try to launch game always when you return just one mission back.
f) If it does not work try to change your profile to another one.
There should be some buged mission that make force quit during the launch.
Thank you
Hi @Alwin,
you can close this issue. I've removed all the culprit missions like you said and now it's ok. Thank you for your assistance.
