I have noticed that since the introduction of the new renderer in 0.60 I have noticed that forests (medium to dense) have in general lower FPS compared to open terrain and cities/town/villages. Continuing into 0.61 experimental forests now seem to be causing (perhaps certain ones) performance issues and FPS drops while looking into them. Similar in nature to how cities behaved under the old engine.

Steps To Reproduce
- Travel outside and away from the towns and cities
- Find cluster of medium to dense forest patches. (I have in general found that lightly populated forests are not much of an issue)
- Travel (walk or run) approximately parallel to the edge of the forest
- Use alt button to shift view towards forest
- Observe stuttering of frames and FPS drops
Additional Information
I have not noticed this everywhere as I have not travelled the map in its entirety. I also have noticed that once you swing your view around to look into a given forest the performance and FPS occurs and then settles down to a relatively low FPS
I have provided a map below with approximate areas that I have observed this issue to occur.
Please note that I am using an older laptop computer with
i7 3720QM & Nvidia GTX670M
Which may be possible source of issues.

As the experimental patch continues to receive updates this issue continues to occur throughout the map, not just in the areas marked on the map. The edges of forests are particularly bad when travelling along them or looking into them.
