The only way to check the contents of the pot is to remove it from the fire and put it in hands or on the ground. Is it possible that when a pot is added to a fire, that it's contents get displayed below the fireplace perhaps?

Steps To Reproduce
I added chicken breasts to a pot, Attached the pot to a fire I had placed in a fire place. The pot turns red indicating it is heating up, but the only way to check the contents of the pot is to remove it from the fire and place it on the ground in the vicinity.
