I already had arma 3 unit selected and linked with my Steam ID and also selected on Arma 3 Units on Launcher Dashboard.
When i launch my game it gives me some kind of paa error not found.
Something like mipmap not found
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Arma3\... .paa not found.
If i select my Unit and go in game atleast my name has unit in it but does not show icons.
RPT spammed with 18:44:22 Warning Message: Cannot load mipmap p:\units\15bn\sp25wht9sq.paa.
procmon spammed with QueryBasicInformationFile P:\Units\15BN\sp25wht9SQ.paa SUCCESS.
The filename is P:\Units\15BN\sp25wth9SQ.paa, can be an issue of case sensitivity? (note the last two characters in the file name)
For info, it happens on the dedicated server too, or using Zeus. From RPT:
"Error a1 reading file 'config\\squads\15bn\sp25wht9sq.paa'"
Hey. I had the exact same issue with my image. A reupload of the the logo with no shadows fixed the issue for my guys. Does the file you are trying to upload contain any such shadows?

For my case I've found the downloaded sp25wht9sq.paa file has wrong content. The content is HTML instead of an image. This is the content:
