Hello,
thank you for reporting this issue and please accept our apologies for the inconvenience. The issue is indirectly caused by Arma 3 Units servers being either down or serving a corrupted data. We've updated Launcher so that the next version won't be affected by this issue.

So I have since reporting this been able to gain access to game and servers again.
But form what you are saying could experience same issue, whilst Units server is down or corrupted, up till the next patch is released.
Is this correct?
Also is there anything I can do my end to mitigate this happening again? E.g. remove myself from any active Units?

There are two possible workarounds to prevent the crash:

  • remove servers from the Unit if you can;
  • leave any unit that has any servers listed.

I've also asked web masters to turn the entire Units system down when something similar occurs, as Launcher crashes only when part of the site is down but some other part is still online.
