So I opened the barrel at the same time my brother was picking it up and the barrel got stuck on his hands and he could not remove it. The end result was him dumping his gear and then me killing him. the barrel was still on the ground after he was dead from a headshot. It was sideways on the ground after death and then when I hid his body...him and the barrel disappeared.
