.60 Gear Loss``
New, NormalPublic

Description

Good afternoon gentlemen/ladies,

I've been playing your game for a relatively long time, especially when I was on deployment, and I keep having this issue where I'd be relatively geared up then when the server restarts or I log out and come back (and on one occasion ate rice near a well, couldn't pick up my ak then logged and back only to find...) that all of my gear goes missing. All it leaves me with is a stripped AK, with 1 bullet....today I got kicked off for server restart, then I spawned inside of a boulder, and it stripped me of all my gear, ak74, ghillie wrap and headress, etc. Only to leave me with one bullet to kill myself with. If you could play fix the "getting DayZ'd" constantly I'd greatly appreciate it, some of my other fellow survivors are experiencing the same issue.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, if you could happen to get back to me my email is firebreak1993@live.com

-Respectfully, Lance Corporal Jordan, USMC

First off, thankyou from Canada, Marine :) for the protection of North America

Jordan, try to slightly gear up, log off a couple of times completely in a safe location.

Is this happening a ton? or every time you have an AK ?

I have read quite a bit about players spawning in with nothing but a gun on their backs. After a long day of testing yesterday. I am not a dev, I realized it comes down to having something in your hands. If you log out with an item in your hands there is a 30-40% chance you will spawn naked with only your gun on your back.

This happened to me but the only way I could reproduce it was after eating rice then logging out with an item in my hands. I spawn back in to all my gear lost but what was in my hands.
