0xC0000135 - STATUS_DLL_NOT_FOUND on Dev & Apex Sneak builds
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Getting this error once I click PLAY from the Arma3 launcher:
ARMA3.exe - Sytem Error
Exception Processing Message 0xc0000135
Paramaeters 0x7ffa9c6daa8 0x7ffa9c6daa8 0x7ffa9c6daa8

Found several other threads with this same problem, but most people in them had this problem with either the Dev build or the Apex Sneak Preview. I have it with both.
I have tried all the steps here multiple times with no luck: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3_Unusual_process_exit#0xC0000135_-_STATUS_DLL_NOT_FOUND
I have uninstalled Steam and Arma3 and cleared all old folders and still no luck.

Hello,
please try to re-install x86 version if Visual Studio 2012 Runtime: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=30679
If it's already installed, please uninstall it, restart the computer and install it again (the repair function might not be working correctly to fix the issue).

Hello,

thank you for the feedback.

Please try to uninstall the Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x86 version), restart your computer and install it again (do not use Repair function). You can do so by downloading the installation package or you can use the installation package that can be found in your Arma 3 folder:
Example: <Arma 3 Steam path>\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2012 - vcredist_x86.exe

Let me know if that have helped.

Thank you
