This has also happened to my friend after logging out in a building in the new military base.

Found a solution to the problem.

While searching through other DayZ videos and Posts about characters being stuck I ran across this video:

If you scroll down the comments you will come across one from: neckofire7

He said to do the following:

1- Go to your game directory and find "structures_houses.pbo" -its about 346 MB-
2- cut it and drop it in a different folder -outside the game-
3- run the game. now they will be no buildings. so runaway and exit before u kicked from the server.
4- place the file "structures_houses.pbo" back to the folder.
5- launch the game again

I tried this and it worked. I have played the game for approximately an hour after putting the PBO file back in to the game directory and have had zero problems.

I tried the steps u mantioned at the end of your post. It doesnt work anymore. Get an error and basicly have to reinstall the game after trying that method
