Steps To Reproduce
one player walked up, instantly broke legs and dove into prone off the stairs and died of fall damage
second player walked up stairs to loot a box of cereal, and took one hit of large damage that ruined pants but didnt break legs, followed by a second hit several seconds later that killed the player
