Yesterday, after running through the rain a couple of times, I got cold and build a fire.
As the fire did not seem to warm me up at all after 5 minutes, I decided to take a risk and get a bit closer to the fire.
I did that a couple of times (after it still didn't change the "cold" status, nor said I was warming up, until I was so close to the fire that I "burned". So I ran away, as always, to get rid of the status "I am burning". But unfortunately it did not go away, and I fell unconscious within 1 minute of having the status "I am burning" and died

I don't know if this is a new mechanic or not, but I was not able to reproduce this as a fresh spawn, and did not try with the same gear I had on (black m65, black cargo pants, black military boots with combat knife).
