Shot an infected just outside of Svetlo with a Makarov pistol. Upon second(?) hit the infected apparently died and fell to the ground. Upon falling to the ground the infected sank into the ground until the only visible feature was its head and began sliding downhill. The infected slid towards the base of the hill and then abruptly changed directions and started moving into town until i lost sight of it. Movement was quite quick and smooth.

I was on the south side of town along the western hillside looking down into town.

• Shot it with pristine Makarov with damaged bullets.
• Shot it at a ballpark distance of ~100 to 150m ish +/-

Did not try to duplicate, only saw one infected.
