Arms of the 3D printer have no collision, marsonaut is able to walk through with no harm even when its spinning. I suppose marsonaut shouldnt be able get so close to these arms. This same can be applied with objects. When you press E for grab and get them near to arms they are just passing through. This same applies when there is a lot of objects inside of the 3D printer.
