Error messages during startup followed by hang at loading screen

Description

Since the last update there has been an error on startup which results in a ctd.

After clicking on the 'Space Program/Continue Game/Press to continue' the screen hangs. When I alt/tab I find the folowing error message...

Hitting any of the 3 buttons results in a CTD.

I can run scenarios just fine, though.

Mlstwalker set Reproducibility to Always.

Mlstwalker set Severity to None.

Mlstwalker set Resolution to Fixed.

resolved this issue, was caused by a new function which in certain circumstances could throw a NULL pointer (causing the crash).

Fixed, a new dev version will be up soon.
