Currently many players and streamers seem to find the 4x pso-1 scope a bit underwhelming for the SVD, which as a rare spawn should be at least somewhat competitive with the hunting scope mounting rifles (currently will personally ditch a SVD for a blaze in a heartbeat). My suggestion would be to introduce
the higher magnification PSOP scope for the SVD, maybe as a separate crash site spawn in 6x or 8x zoom. This would give it somewhat better capability than rifles mounting ACOG and the pso-1 scope yet still slightly worse zoom compared to rifles mounting hunting scope giving them advantage at longer range. (Scope could be used also in the future for the russian long range rifles, SV-98 for example) Issue that comes to my mind with this addition would be the fast fire rate of the SVD, though as a rare spawn I wouldnt consider this to be too unfair.
Opinions on the matter, too overpowered?
