i have wanted to see this added for a long time to be able to carry a handgun on your side as the only other way to hold them is in the plate carry rig and the chest holster but the chest holster dose not have any capacity so your better off with a high cap vest and just being able to save them 4 slots makes a big difference if your one of those survivors that dont like the big backpacks.
