In my opinion at least some of the bullets should go through trees (several actually) like in real life, always thought the current cowering behind tree gunfights were a bit silly.

Does bullets go through trees though?
I'd imagine smaller tree this would be possible but a thicker tree you'd have to aim for the thiner area of the tree for the bullet to go through.

Well im not expert on the matter but I would think smaller trees would give no trouble to rifle rounds like you said. Anyways my point being you shouldnt be 100% safe behind a tree, this would give firefights in woods some variety instead of two people hiding behind the same trees for 15mins due to staying in cover being advantageous.
