You need protector case, binoculars, compass and box of matches. {F33056}

Steps To Reproduce

Put items in your inventory and bind them to hotkeys. (You can't bind from container now)
Protector case must be in your inventory too. Put items in it.
Relog.
Some items will disappear from hotbar.

I checked this. You're right!

independant from what is in the hotbar. buttons 7+ dissappear as well as everything in your hand and in the hotbar the same time (e.g. gun)

Hope new ui will fix it. But personally I don't like it. It looks like WarZ. (
