I was running back to my camp through the woods after finding a gas can. I received a memory error and my entire system crashed; after logging back in I was completely reset. I looked through the entire logs to make sure I wasn't killed by a player and all I seen was:

Player "Butcher"(id=76561197985330063) has been disconnected

Not sure how I was killed/reset - I was full health and carrying a Jerry can.
