On DayZ forums I've stumbled upon people talking about really worrying hacks being developed for this game. Here is the link, the hack itself is not out yet but as it seems they have it working and they are testing it. Reportedly it lets them see all the items in the vicinity, see every player status/distance/equipment and so on.
