If you are carrying a rifle (or SMG with no storage space available)in your hands and another on your back (double carry) and wish to swap which is in your hands, dragging the weapon on your back to your hands causes the formerly equipped weapon to drop.
In addition, swapping main weapons this way in a military tent causes the dropped weapon to transport outside of the tent, even with plenty of empty floor space in the tent.
Double carry two rifles.
Have inventory mostly full.
Try to swap weapon on back for the weapon in hand by click and drag in the UI.
While outside, in buildings and in tents.
Then try swapping using the
Have only noticed this glitch while performing action in static military tents.
May have happened in buildings as well.
This also happened to me while switching weapons in a military barracks (the ones with a bathroom and four "bedrooms" with bunk beds). The weapon was on the outside of the building clipping into the corner, which I assume is the localPosition(0,0,0) of the prefab or whatever the equivalent in the DayZ game engine.
