I absolutely hate the use of lime for tanning a hide. It goes against logic in a survival situation since you would eventually run out of lime. I would love to see brain tanned leather in the game. Combining brain, water and hide would produce it. It might do well as a boon for those who bothered to carry the lime that there was one less step in normal leather. With this one, maybe use 4 sticks with prepared hide to change it into a finished leather. I would also love to see the ability to smoke the hide as a way to add a rain resistance to it and change the color from a pale tan into a darker brown.
