In 0.58 exp they are not. I had green energized/hydrated status(first level) and I ate cooked Lard and 3 cooked steaks, and i was stuffed for just about like 3-4 mins, after that, I ate 3x cooked human steaks, and I even didnt get stuffed. In that case, hunting is useless now, coz apples and cans are just more efficient than animal meat.

In Mod ppl were hunting beacouse animal steak's were so much better than anything you could find, now in SA it need some love, just as Tac. Bacon get.

I agree; the more difficult to obtain and prepare foods should be more rewarding than the easily collected food. As it is there aren't many good reasons for hunting and cooking as opposed to collecting canned goods. In my opinion, food is already too easy to come by so I'd rather see not that they improve the cooked meat, but that the nourishment received from cans be much less.
