I can't see any Fruit and Vegetables around since 0.55 stable - in 0.55 you could only make them visible, if you sood right in Front of it , a grey empty Field was shown in the inventory until you pulled it into the Inventory of the Character, then it turned into Apples, Oranges, Zucchinis, ...

I the 0.57 stable it seems there even aren't any Food Items to find except Cans now, i didn't come across any openly edible Stuff yet.
