I have noticed a bug where loot that spawns on top of a T72 tank (the one with a missing turret) cannot be taken.

This happens all the time.

Me and a friend managed to use a V3S cargo to get on top of the tank but still couldn't get the loot and my friend got ported off of the tank when he walked towards the back end.
