Prior to .57 If I picked up an Ax, weapon, soda, or other hotbar capable item it would auto populate into the next available slot and assign that hot key # to it. I could also drag an item to a particular slot and manually assign that hot key.
Since the upgrade no items are auto assigned to the hotbar and when I attempt to manually assign an item to a slot it drops it on the ground.
Attempt to pick up item by any method (accept prompt to take item, double click item when in inventory mode, drag item to character).
Drag item from inventory to hotbar slot.
I've tried this on multiple servers with the same results.
Sometimes I can put something into the hotbar and it might work for a while. But, later I will look down and the first hot button on the left will be empty.
Other times the hotbar will stop working all together.
