I play public 1st and 3rd person on public hive. I run through Berenzino, Svetlojarsk and many smaller villages and don't found any single ZED?
Played 6 hours and can't kill a ZED because no on was available.
I think something is wrong with the ZED spawn.
Can you confirm?
Play DayZ on various public hive server.
Did you try logging off and relogging? Did you try changing server? I play on private hives and sometimes it happens just to me. Other times it's just the server that badly restarted.
Since you're the only one complaining about this, maybe it's just a problem relative to your data files. Did you hear anyone else that can't find zeds?
Anyway, try playing on a private hive server and see if you can find them.

Zombies as well as animals have had their numbers cut down for 0.57 on Stable branch. This will stay like that while the team continues working on server performance. Don't worry though, their numbers will be turned up again in the future.
