zombies distance unatural

the picture below is of 1 of the closeness that the zombies get which i think is a bit unatural which the picture shows full speed and the zombie keeping up till it runs out of breath eventhough there dead,

what would be better is that the picture shown should be double distance when either running, jogging or walking where zombie matches speed and then dose its slow down as usual + giving time for character to pull out either a gun or axe as the putting weapon in hand takes a few seconds to do which if the distance was double it would give the chance of the player to defend themselfs

( for walking it would be only so slightly faster say if walking is 100% then zombie would be 110%, then jogging the zombie would be 105% and running would be same speed but with the distance involved ) {F31549}

i have also had instances where zombie is right behind backpack at same running speed too

+ if you look at most zombie flicks you find that there is a distance between charachters and zombies which there speed is also at a set speed as such
