Weight of loaded AK-Magazines too high
New, WishlistPublic

Description

After aquiring a 30-round AK-mag, i found, that loading the mag (0,5 kilos) with the rounds (under 0,5 kilos) sums up to a total weight of 13 kilos for the 7,62 variant.

Problem exists also on the 5,45 variant, which has a loaded weight of 7 kilos.

I think this is because in the description there is a text and the weight is saved somewhere else.

Why so complicated, devs? Like this you have to change everytime 2 (!) data when modifying the weight.

You could do it way easier.. even now - for the future!

I dont think its that easy. The weight of the loaded mag seems to be a calculated value, as it scales nicely with the amount of bullets, you put in. Only it does its math wrong and multiplies the weight of every bullet with somewhat around the factor 10 it seems. Actually a weight of 1.3 kilos would be way more realistic for a fully loaded mag then 13 kilos.

I found a 75 rounds AKM magazine yesterday. It weighs 77kg. While this is fun just now, it should probably be fixed when wheight affects constitution. I think, this might also affect other magazines (pbobably not as much).
