Hi there, just tried 0.55 on experimental server DE 0-5 as it was the only one operational.
I experience significant bouts of lag (for approx 60% of gameplay), the odd texture issues with clothing and the "no walls houses". It was similar to when I first started playing DayZ on version 0.47 or 0.48
It did not seem to matter wether I was in town, on the coast or in woodland.
