This happened twice already, onces at NW Airfield and once in Zelen.. once i was looking at ammo, and the other i was looking at shoes when all of a sudden the screen goes red, i drop to the ground and it says my feet at sore, leg fractured, pants and everything in them ruined and shows ruined.
both times no gun shots heard, no bleeding, no noticable loss of blood.

I logged on to the server each time the character takes damage comparable to a bullet. And you probably shot (due to the large distance noiselessly, with good health indicators bleeding sometimes not ).

I thought that initially but didnt think the same thing could happen twice with a single clean shot. the 2nd time i don't think windows would be low enough to hit the legs. Plus we have a team for 3 players who scout the area before entering and none of us heard any shots.
How big are the hit boxes in dayz then? Shoes and Jeans ruined and Fracture all from being hit in the legs?
on a side note, both times after that when i made a split to fix my leg it was say the splint was made, but bandage and stick still remain in inventory with no splint in sight. and trying to do it again just gives you a option to switch stick with bandage. jumping servers seems to be the only way to fix it.
