DxTory won't work with DayZ anymore
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Since the latest (1.4 something mb) update, dxtory does not work with dayz anymore. Normally DxTory shows play FPS and file FPS, but at the moment it only shows game FPS and says "init". Any other game works fine. Maybe Battleye blocks DxTory?

Same here.
I stopped using Dxtory.

Now I use OBS and I use QuickSync for recording. No FPS loss.

a propos: My friends said they re-installed Dxtory and everything was fine.

DxTory with the default codec DOES work fine in the current experimental branch 0.54.126545

The only other codec that "sort of" worked was "Cinepak codec by Radius" however it did not seem to record video, only a still frame. A video file was produced.

All other codecs seem to lock at "INIT" indicated when the FPS monitor switches to orange. It never initializes and indicates the split FPS monitor to display the game fps and file write fps.

Hello mc2717,

Unfortunately, since DayZ does not officially support DxTory and is not developed around that program, we won't be able to fix that issue from our end. In this case I would recommend that you contact the developer's support via their forum: http://forum.exkode.com/
