Player lost on server restart/shutdown
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Just had a character alive for over a week, been playing with my buddy. I was up at north west airfield (don't really think this detail matters) and whilst in a fire station, I get the "No Message Received" message count down and assumed it was for restart since it happened on the hour. All excited to come back into the game, I go to join another server annnnd, I spawned in on the shore. Thinking I may have clicked on a private server which I've done a few times, I joined another server, making sure it was public. Once I logged in, it was confirmed that I was a newspawn on the shore.

This has happened COUNTLESS times already to me but this time with all this gear I had I'm extremely fed up with this issue. Since the game came out the issue has existed.

I think, I know that requiring all server hosts to hold mandatory restart messages is essential to keeping this issue from occurring. PLEASE just fix this so I can go back to not worrying every time I log out.

I agree - that issue still exists. Especially when you join servers from different hosting companies.
