Unacceptable usage of DayZ Servers (Also known as the “Don’t” list)

" You may not perform the following actions on your server, Kick/Ban players without just cause. "

Acceptable Usage of DayZ Servers (Also known as the “Do” list)

" You may perform the following actions on your server, Kick abusive players (harassment, cheating, exploiting bugs. "

Theres no mention of being allowed to ban players in the "do list" as im a server owner im slightly confused, can we ban yes or no ? Those rules need updating so its totally clear on what we can or can not do.

I heard you where not able to ban players on public, isn't the bottom link updated on their site? pdf format. Ill check again in a second.

o Restart server to farm loot
o Restart server to protect your character integrity after dying
o Kick/Ban players without just cause
o Lock / Password the server

There is a way to access a player list which allows you to type ban commands to ban players, but ive never used it yet because my host has always told me that the rules say no banning on public servers have been granted yet.

Hello pilgram15,

You may not ban players from public servers since this is not mentioned on the "do list".
