Minimum sensitivity still too high for 800+ cpi mouse.
New, WishlistPublic

Description

Minimum config value of sensitivity slider is 0.2
This value is too high for comfortable use of 800cpi mouse for low sensitivity players coming from technical shooters.
With a 1800 cpi mouse it's plain unusable.

People use a wide range of sensitivities, from 7 to 110 cm/360°.
0.2 @ 800cpi is roughly 35cm/360°.

Minimum slider value should be around 0.03 to allow comfortable use for low sensitivity players.

A box to input numerical value next to the slider would be great! Actually not putting it would be pretty cheap in my honest opinion, as sliders are just not that accurate.

Additional Information

High sensitivities multipliers on low cpi will lead to pixel skipping, I don't see any valid reasons to support that incorrect behavior disregarding correct use of these variables.

Competitive gamers use gaming mice that are able to track >4m/s hand movements, we are not forced to use high sensitivities to compensate for the mouse's shortcomings.

Amen...what he said. Even with mouse sensitivity slider set to 0 (or what looks like 0 on a slider...you never can tell on a slider), and sensitivity turned down pretty far in WIndows, the mouse is still WAY over-sensitive.

For example, I turn my character what should be 90 degrees right or left, and he does a 180 ... if I use the keyboard controls things work fine, but this results in much slower control and is very uncompetitive...(I would get my ass killed in a firefight if I had to use just keyboard).

Any chance you could put in settings for joystick? I have considered going through and changing controls to use a joystick to compensate for poor mouse control, but it would be a lot to re-construct every control.
