can not connect to dayz experimental servers and they show up empty

Description

i can not connect to the experimental servers at all when i try to join one it just says waiting for host, they always show up empty in the normal selection screen but when in history or favorites they show a player count and as of 1/19/2015 i can't even find more then 3 experimental servers

Steps To Reproduce

this happens to me when i do the following

.switch to opt in for betas and experimental
.open the game and pick server select
.try to join an experimental server
